The ccd B/W cameras have optimal performance at 12VDC. Do not exceed 13 VDC under any circumstances. When wiring the cameras, it is strongly recommended that the power is turned off. Many 12 Volt adapters have an extremely high open circuit voltage which means that an excessive voltage spike can damage the cameras. If you are uncertain about your power source, order the XF-200L. It provides 12 volts under load for this camera module. The CNL-100 lens can be adjusted by rotating lens in either direction for proper focus. The spring adjustment makes the job easier by providing tension to lock the lens in place. Pin hole lens design, CNP-101,
can be adjusted if required by using the small Allen-head wrench and adjusting
the set-screw located on the ridge, just below the lens. Do not over-tighten!
In some instances, a set-screw is not employed. In this case, just
rotate the lens to focus properly.
